2 cup yellow self rise *or* plain cornmeal & your preferred leavening agent
1/2 tsp salt
2 cup buttermilk
2 egg
1 stick melted butter
Whisk wet ingredient together. Pour into dry ingredient. Fold gently until combined. Pour gently into lightly greased cast iron skillet @ 350F (water drops will form beads that skip around). About 3 minutes per side. Serve hot.
