Well, you know. The last day or two he has been trying to use his claws on the love seat. I wondered if he is trying to punish me.

Ran into an old pal Krogering for those coupon savings mentioned earlier.

He hosts poker games. Says it has become even more awesome since they finally got everyone to agree to invite wives.
I used to go every week, a few years ago. Always had a blast. Super cheap bunch, quarter ante then $3 bet limit.
You don't have to go broke.

4 old Army vets usually. Always made army punch. Everyone bring something and it all goes into a community bowl.
Disgusting!!
But fun for the night.
I usually brought a 1.75 ltr jug of mild Canadian. I mean what else were we doing but creating a Canadian blend? When the "punch" got low, I ramped it up again.

God showed man how to make whiskey. Devil curled the way we use it.


Anyway, I'm thinking of gearing up for a poker night or two, as cold approaches.

I plan to be zenning, loading, until the afternoon heat invades my garage.

Uneven number of teams on women's league so tonight is out team's night off for the quarter. I've already had two requests to sub so I'm still playing. I have to pick up kids from the sitter and get them to our house. If Dad hasn't arrived yet by 5:45, I'm leaving grandpa in charge.
