Tiny little fishing trip went great. It was hot at first, but so much fun.
Thanks for the luck! They were biting. It's been too long!

Once the breeze kicked up, it really was not unpleasant, even at 85F.

Caught a bunch! I kept five, but once I found the depth, there was almost no waiting. Missed a bunch of hits from not paying attention, expecting to just sit a while.

I threw back more small ones than I could keep count.
I was about 150' from the short dam and no one else was out there fishing. Lots of walkers, loads of frisbee golfers, but no anglers.

I did cut a small one for bait and cast out far as I could and let sink with just guts. Caught one catfish, but small. Tossed it back.

Took the time to do some cleaning on the bank.
Great time! Too short.

Now I need a shower, real bad.
And a lot of water!

Nothing... I just know they were designed for easy barrel swap - .17, .22LR, .22 mag
