We lost power here for almost half an hour.

Taxi, late edition, there were some huge limbs blown down, blocking the road in places. Cops and fire in several places where the road was one car width through.
Everyone stopping to take turns.
Fortunately cops were there at each place.

Wow! We haven't had anything that bad down here. I think it's starting to become less intense, so hopefully we've seen the worst of it.

Time for me to hit the hay. Weather seems to be winding down now. Folks to the southeast got hammered with flooding (I-40 into Asheville, NC is gone). Prayers for everyone affected by this thing. Thankful that we were spared.
