I never wear hats now. I worked in restaurants where I had to, and after I left that environment, I never went back. I own some, but I don't wear them. The exception being a knit cap in the winter.

Where I grew up, you really don't go out without a hat. You need a hat.
Everyone wears a hat, except fools.
And kind people usually have a spare or two in the truck.

Kind of like folks here with a spare warm coat or set of blankets in winter.
