I didn't beat the rain. Started sprinkling as I was backing out of the driveway and it's pretty dark to the west. It's been so long since I've seen rain that I just want to sit out here on the deck and enjoy it instead of being stuck in the store.

Just heard a rumble of thunder.

I'm still here! Still not really raining yet, but just saw lightning to the south and it's getting darker. Looks like there may be a fine mist in the air.

Dang it, I think it's going to miss us. The thunder is down in Johnson County. The rain coming from the west just disappears when it gets to the Marion County line.
