It is very warm here in the sun temp is only 85 but wow sure seems hotter. Came inside for the ac for a bit.

Grandson called and wants to go shoot. He calls them pews, he is only 4, I just don't feel he is ready yet.

Built a new birthing stall and straightened a blade on my beater mower and adjusted the deck. Then my bride and I sat in the river for a while listening to nature and the babbling of the water running over the rocks. River is WAY down, need rain!

4 might be a little young, I always impressed safety and deadliness of guns first, and I am not sure a 4 year old is mature enough for that to sink in

My age for teaching is 6/7.

I let them beat on a watermelon, generally they don't do any damage. Then I take them to the range....stand them far back, and let them witness the destruction!
My kids and grandkids each get a single shot 22 from us at age 7....that's what we teach them to handle, load, fire before any thing else
