Chili is in the oven. Now I'm set for supper.
Reminds me that my large, footed Dutch oven survived the recent cabinet horrors.

I have a pot of beans overdue, in my book.
You got me thinking to use the Dutch oven to bake some beans instead of otherwise.

I often spice them up and oven them down low, leaving them overnight for the first half of cook.

I have a ham bone I saved from July 4th ham, still frozen, but ready to bust open and throw in a pot of beans. I always expose the marrow.

    Not tonight, but certainly tomorrow.
    Thanks for the idea!

About an hour and it's bedtime for me.
    It's hard going from 4 - 10's to 6 10's (just for this week)
Was working M-F and every other Saturday.

In the summer and around Christmas time it was every Saturday.

They offered me a T-Saturday . I ran with it. Have managed to keep my hours up for the most part, last week I still ended up with almost 15 hrs of OT

HEY night owls and early risers .. when you read this. Working over for a team mate and get the weekend off now.. I need it.
Got a call about my mom today while I was on my way to visit her in the hospital.. 2 fractured vertebrae in her lower back and doing a outpatient surgery to cement them back together.. JB weld for seniors?? Humor is all I combat tiredness and all the #$%^$#$$ that is going on..
Surgery went well and hopefully this will alleviate her pain in her back and legs now! I could not move her without her in a lot of pain so this is good.. to bad I had asked about this for 2 weeks or so.
I have the building inspector coming to check a few things today so looking forward to moving forward! Best.. Tim

I just got 6 large onions in a skillet to carmelize slowly.

Can't really use my outdoor Dutch oven on an electric range very well. Works fine in the oven, though.

Navy beans are rinsed and soaking.
