Yesterday and again today the city is cleaning sewer drains. Pretty complex truck they use for this.
Even those two foot sewer pipes have a trap to prevent sewer gasses from flowing back into the neighborhood.

They vac those traps dry in the cleaning process!
We need rain to refill those traps, soon.
Half the north part of the city smells like sewer gas!
Yuck!

I just now figured out why my USPS Informed Delivery emails have been going straight to my Trash folder. Somehow, a filter had been set that was sending them there. I don't know how that would've even happened. But at least I was able to delete the filters (there were 2!), so hopefully I'll start getting them in my Inbox again.
