Been fighting ants this morning! Went to fill Ruthie's food dish and it was covered in ants, as was her feeder stand. Took her food and water dishes and the top of the feeder outside and hosed them down, then used Ortho Home Defense to spray all around where her feeder sits as well as the threshold and surrounding area going out to the deck. I don't know what made them decide to invade all of a sudden, but it was not how I wanted to start my morning.
