Just returned from a yard sale Wife found on FB.

I was kind of dreading it. But we were in and out fast. She found nothing, I bought a wooden hand carved scary mask, Polynesian pattern I think. $5.

This will be a wall hanger in my sound room, to go with two other clay Olmec and a palmwood Watusi looking thing. Haven't tried to place the culture of that African one, yet.

Stopped at Hardee's on the way back. Always look at change.
Long time since numismatics was a part of my investments, but I found a 1945 Philly, wheatback in the change from Hardee's today.

Quick try at grading, this is above a VG and might reach XL under inspection with my loupe. There is mint luster still visible.

At this stage, I'm betting some scab stole some of Daddy's coins and bought beer recently.
    :lmfao:

I can't leave a wheatback in circulation. No way!
For one thing, they're copper, mostly, and worth more than one cent. Spot price of Cu is never going down!

It's cursed, don't you remember the episode of the Brady bunch? ?
    Or every Scooby-Doo episode??

Yard is mowed. Got about everything done that I needed to this morning. Now I think I'll get my nap in before lunch. Susan left to take the granddaughter home.
