I hate plumbing! :wallbash: My simple little installation has turned into a nightmare. Got the new valve and it took care of the leak, but when I reattached the supply line to the toilet, the little fitting on the supply line started leaking. So back to the hardware store for a new supply line.

But that's not even the worst of it. When I shut off the water to the house, I found out that the main supply valve has been leaking, probably since they redid our bathroom. That was the last time I turned it off and on. This one is beyond my skill level to fix, so I have a plumber coming tomorrow. :spend: It has damaged our laminate flooring too.

The closet is full of ammo cans, so I've got to move them out and get them dried off then after it's fixed, probably run a fan to try and dry things out in there. I don't know if my homeowners insurance would cover the damage to the flooring or not.

Should if it's over your deductible to fix it.

Funny that I was never a cat person before I met Susan. We even had one when I was 5 or 6. Didn't hate them or anything, and of the ones I met/got to know, I liked the "feisty" or "needy" ones the best.

I am now a cat person. Still a dog person too of course. :)
