Youngest granddaughter is going to spend tomorrow night with us and go back home Sunday afternoon or evening. Planning on making blueberry pancakes Sunday morning. She found out about Susan's cancer. Saw a text on either her other grandma's or her dad's phone. But it turns out she knew last weekend with us but she didn't let on. The other grandkids don't know yet (as far as we know).

Yeah it's too bad she found out about it that way and kept it too herself.

She talked to her grandma and dad. She's incredibly mature for her age (9). She's handling it really well all things considered. The older grandkids just lost their other grandpa in January, so that's a consideration with them.

On the bright side, Susan has been eating a little better and she says it seems easier for her to swallow now, like her esophagus has opened up somewhat.
