And I'm sure they'll all sell for much more than what they can be had for ordering directly from the CMP.I've been mesmerized looking through the auction site (Kelly's post about the January 1st auction)
It's incredible how many M1 Garands listed and I'm only on page 15 of 98.
Agreed. Never been to a gun auction let alone one on New Year's day.And I'm sure they'll all sell for much more than what they can be had for ordering directly from the CMP.
Oh yeah, I still look.Agreed. Never been to a gun auction let alone one on New Year's day.
Still kinda fun to look at all the shiny objects.
I went to a gun auction once.... ONCE.And I'm sure they'll all sell for much more than what they can be had for ordering directly from the CMP.
First one I went to was awesome. It was at Earl's Auctions here in Indy and it was for the guns and ammo that came from the estate of some guy out in Greenfield. I think his wife murdered him or something, but he had a TON of stuff. I was there for almost 10 hours and still left before it was over. I picked up some ammo and a couple of milsurp rifles. He had a bunch of Johnson rifles that I really wanted, but didn't know anything about. When I saw them selling for $3-5K I quickly realized I was never going to have one.I went to a gun auction once.... ONCE.
beat up used Glocks were going for almost $100 over retail.
Susan couldn't think of anything, and I thought too long, so I just went to McDonalds. I wish we had some other choices that I could go to and get back home within 15 minutes, but Wendy's, Taco Bell and McDonalds are it. Chinese place qualifies, but I had that yesterday. Thai place qualifies but that's too close to Chinese.I should probably find some lunch too
