I went and voted. I got to speak to what will hopefully be our new Mayor. He was standing out in the parking lot electioneering. Good man, out there in the cold dark morning hours.

Not much to vote for today. New mayor is unopposed, treasurer unopposed, city council unopposed, and only the city councilor at large is either a republican or democrat choice.
I’ll go vote later in case there’s a referendum to vote no on.

Tempted to vote for the current Dem so we can hopefully get a better Republican candidate next time. Otherwise we’ll be stick with the guy for a while

we have had a Dem mayor for a long time. The Goshen College machine is pretty hard to beat. I wonder how many of the kids there they register to vote.

Our Republican sounded good at first. Had an A rating from the NRA, was a Trump supporter, etc.. Then he did an about face and started calling for all his gun control crap.

We didn't have any referendums this time around. They're usually money grabs and I always vote no when we do.
