There was a good sized locust branch down that I didn't see this morning while checking the traps.

Made me think it was man made at first thought, but it was indeed rotten when I went out to look at it up close.

Dang, that was fierce! Power flickered off 3 or 4 times and I thought, "Oh no... not again!" See, this storm looked a lot worse than Thursday's to me. Horizontal rain, trees whipping around like crazy. I'm guessing that Thursday's storm took out the trees that were going to fall on power lines already, so that's probably why we didn't lose power altogether.

Was out grilling some burgers and the dark clouds rolled in and then the rain let loose.
