I have no idea what I am doing today. Trying to decide what to thaw for supper and what I want to do. I got the cleaning pretty much done yesterday since there was talk of possibly going fishing today. Haven't heard any updates on that plan so I guess I'll see what happens. Daughter and her hubby are both off today so I guess I'll see if she messages saying they want to go. I think he was going to mow their grass today. It's pretty out of control, but he uses the big tractor with the bush hog to do it so it won't take long to knock it down. They have a lot to mow...probably close to four acres is yard area with just a small patch of woods on the back that borders our woods.

they may want to let it go back to native prairie and just mow some paths
They have talked about getting a couple of steers for freezer beef so that would require fencing off a bit of it in the back and probably putting up some sort of shelter for them and/or for storing hay. They need to build a garage/pole barn yet as well. There is still a lot to be done over there, but we got them out of the rental situation.

Now that they are done having babies, they can start saving for some of the other things they need to do. They could easily just mow around the house and in the front, and it would look nice. They don't have a place to store a mower yet so it has been easier for them to come over and get the 580 and use that. He usually mows the trails through the woods when they need it too.

I borrowed work's big Milwaukee hammer drill to drill some big 17/32 holes in a pipe for my pier project. The bit caught and that drill spun on me and it feels like I jammed up both middle fingers on my right hand.

I've done that with a pneumatic drill that had a shoulder rest... get it hung drilling into floor and it'd come around and break your leg and keep spinning until the air line broke and went whipping all over. :D
