Had to feed the hummys. Have 6 1qt feeders and they only lasted 2days.. that's not supposed to happen til the first of July :faint:.

Orioles are at a 1qt of grape jelly a week now..

Having 3 pileated woodpeckers I'm having to replace the suet block daily.

The dog still hasn't caught the 2 piney squirrels yet but he gives it 100% every try so can't be too disappointed.

Finally kicked the AC on yesterday. With today's foreguess at 93°, it's definitely going to earn its keep.

Coney dogs and root beer should be a good lunch, to bad they don't deliver.

I've cut back on feeding the birds here. They have plenty of natural food available so I've been doing the sunflower seeds, hummingbird feeders and keep water available for them. Prices have really gone up on the corn, birdseed and suet so I had to cut back. We still see plenty of deer but more in the woods than in the yard. They are doing a lot less damage to the flower beds as well.
