    Good morning everybody. Like klausm just did a quick run thru to catch up on last day or so here. Thumbs up to successful surgery and cute grandkids ( wish we had a couple ). So sorry about prospect of losing a beloved pet…been there, done that too many times and will be facing again too soon. Thumbs down to crappy weather coming in. Have to drive CPA appointment in Huntington tomorrow morning…120 miles round trip. Should have mailed paperwork in and done phone or zoom appointment.

    First spring fish landed yesterday but nothing to write home about.
    Crappies - 0
    Bluegill - 3 bites, 3 - 7”+/- landed
    LM bass - lost 1 approx. 12”er coming out of water. Wasn’t hooked well, on a crappie line.

    Some errands to run then maybe try again this afternoon. Regardless will be eating gills tonight ( still have 19 vacuum sealed bags in freezer from last spring with 1 thawed bag in frig for tonight ). Had walleye last week, still 6 or 8 bags in freezer.

    Started to order lawn mower tune up parts yesterday.
    First the Deere lawn tractor. It's got the fast oil change filter system. I found they sell a complete kit which included:fuel filter,air filter,spark plug, and the quick change oil setup. Very nice to just be able to buy them all with a click.
