I'd like a rough age on this pistol. Model 10, 3" barrel. Picture it in your mind. SN D637XXX. Can anyone with the book look it up? Thanks :patriot:

Late 60's, early 70's. I had one, but it always shot a little left, so I traded it. With a little attention, the trigger is potentially very good.

Like indiucky said the Standard Catalog of S&W dates this gun to 73 or 74 and yes they are all that smooth. It's a Smith and Wesson thing.

My 21 year old cousin who helps out in the shop has after two years finally quit saying, "Dang, that's a nice trigger." whenever he handles a Smith. One day he just looked at me and said, "They are all like this ain't they?" I said "Yes Grasshopper, they are." As Kalboy said, "It's a Smith and Wesson thing.":yesway:

Thats awesome. I actually thought mine had some trigger work along the way. I even put my motorcycle on Ebay last night thinking I want to get a couple more of these wheelies! The next question is, are these guys good for +P?
