Don't hold your breath on this one. Maybe you should set your eyes on a more realistic goal first - such as world peace.

From site.
[h=3]NON-RESIDENTS – What Do I Need Prior to Applying for a Concealed Carry License?[/h]In accordance with 430 ILCS 66/40 (b), out of state residents may be eligible for an Illinois Concealed Carry License if your state meets the definition of substantially similar as established by rule. See 20 Il. Admin. Code 1231.10. Currently, the states identified below have been determined to have laws related to firearm ownership, possession, and carrying that are substantially similar to the requirements to obtain a license under Illinois’ law; and, therefore, may apply for an Concealed Carry License. This list will be updated as additional states are identified as substantially similar. Further Information concerning the regulations for non-resident applications can be found at 20 Il. Admin. Code 1231.110.

Update!!!!
The new law is effective on March 23, 2015....
Alright, I haven't stayed up-to-date on this thread. So as of March 23, can I carry in Ohio with my Indiana license?
Do I need to inform immediately if pulled over?
Awesome!
Is it gonna be concealed only or is open carry allowed?

No permit is needed to carry a firearm openly in Ohio, only to conceal.
Unfortunately, the main point of conflict was that they consider carrying in a vehicle to be carrying concealed so that fact was pointless while traveling in or through the state.
So, driving through Ohio in an open-topped jeep with a pintel (pedestal) mounted M-2 - the gun is considered concealed?

I am on a mobile device and too lazy to search. Would you be kind enough to provide oh.gov or other legitimate primary source confirmation of this?
Much appreciated.
[strike]Post #68 of this thread has a link to the NRA's report on it. I'll look at oh.gov.[/strike]
