I'm with you on the bug. I am seriously considering a 1911. I love the feel of the Kimber but not so much a fan of the price tag that goes with it.

Thanks. I already have one of these.
The price is not totally out of line as it does come with some ammo.
There is one of these in the display case locally. Just north of $1300.

    1300 for a loaded? Lol.

Are they gonna ban 1911s too?

Look real close. That is a NM Trophy if my eyes do not lie to me.
    Mine is just like it.
Just bought a loaded today from PSS and they do look similar. The loaded has a fixed rear site. The one pictured has adj rear, stipling on the front of the grip and a magwell extension. These are very nice out of the box shooters. Fit and finish are excellent.
I was out the door with the loaded for just north of $880.
$1200 is a bit of a push on a used Trophy but the ammo does spice it up just a bit.

No magwell on that one. The checkering doesn't look like factory sa checkering either. The trophy match also has a big roll mark designating as such. Not sure how it would get confused as a loaded model. :dunno:

My roll mark is on the other side.
My loaded does not have the stippling on the front of the grip either.
Now I am going to have to open up the safe and look darn it..........:D

Edit...You are probably correct. The stippling on the posted piece is not factory and no mag-well. Easy enough to install the rear sights.
Looks like ole-boy is a bit of a profiteer. I paid $350 less than his price for a brand new Loaded today.

SA sold a loaded with BoMars. Sku PI9132LP It goes for about the same as the other loaded models. Nice guns.
