Hello Mark, how's things in the icebox of the nation.

It isn't as cold as it was last week, but lot's of snow up here. Took a little longer to get back than usual. Was snowing in NWI Sunday afternoon. Waited for it to stop because the roads were slick and I wanted to clear the snow for the wife before leaving. But by then it was after 7pm. So I slept for a few hours and got up at 1am, on the road by 2am. Roads were fantastic until I got north of Madison. Then I noticed ice forming on the windshield. Not good. By the time I was nearing Eau Claire started seeing cars and jackknifed semis in the ditch. At one point an SUV in front of me spun out while attempting to change lanes. At that point I said to heck with it and got off and sat in a McDonald's in Osseo for about 2 1/2 hours sipping some coffee. Got back on the road, conditions had improved some. Didn't get to the MN house until after 1pm. There was about 8 inches of snow there yesterday, another 5 to 6 this morning, and it's still snowing.

    Mother nature might be menopausal.

Just re-stacked, organized and swept up around the wood pile. Another load is en-route.
