We went out for a burger for lunch so I'm not very hungry. I have a roast in the oven with taters and carrots...figure we'll eat in about 45 minutes.

Took another deer carcass out to the hunting site today and got that all tied up to the fence. The one he took out a few days ago was completely demolished...found some bones and some fur.

Camera card shows plenty of activity so he plans to go back tomorrow evening to hunt.

    Evening all.

I took the wife out to dinner tonight instead of doing it on Valentine's day. We went to our favorite Italian place, Sal's in Plainfield. We couldn't finish, and brought home the extras for tomorrow's lunch.

Hopefully everyone is having a good weekend.

The gardener is upstairs talking to her sister, both are waiting on warmer weather to start gardening.

We run it for 9 hours in these temps. I think the longest we've run it was 14 hours when the weather was sub zero. House is 70 now, but it will drop to 63 by tomorrow morning.

With the spouse's medical issues I set the furnace to run at 67* at night. If it is bitter cold the bedroom will be 65*/66* avg which is pretty good sleeping. Any cooler it bothers her. I could do 60* just getting deep in the blankets. Her, not so much.
Tonight I bet the furnace will lite up around 3:00/3:30.
