Official Status Update Thread 199 Is it Spring yet..??

I actually made the sauce Wed.
But my water froze up just before I made it.
So I went with frozen pizza and cooked/refrigerated the sauce.
I got my water back, but was getting clobbered at work.
So I just remembered the sauce was in there, with cheese mix.

So I made it up.
Now I have meals for awhile.
Some will go with me tomorrow on my double.

Then I think ekrich sausage and frozen potatoes for another meal.

I was going to cook something today. We had leftovers last night since I worked. I got called in today as one of the other girls had called off sick and there wasn't much of anything left in the fridge to warm up so we went to Ponderosa tonight. I pulled a brisket out of the freezer to thaw so I plan to put that in the crockpot before we leave for hubby's appointment tomorrow.

Crockpots are great.

They are certainly convenient. I have a couple of good recipe books just for crockpots so I use mine fairly often.

I need to look at my recipe book. I usually just throw stuff in.

I do it both ways. It just depends on what I am making. I use recipes more as a guide. I add and subtract as I see fit when using recipes.

I guess I am calling it a night. Mattie keeps wanting to go outside but then she sees it is raining and refuses to go out the door. She is staring at the food dish now but it is way too early for her to have breakfast. Last night, she was meowing to be let out about 20 minutes after I went to bed so she may end up outside anyway.
