I was going to buy the Colt 1911's last week for the combat build, but they went up $50. Now I'm thinking STI fitted frame, slide, and barrel since Caspian doesn't fit barrels.

Triggers are pretty much standard across the board in the 1911. One size will fit all with just a little fettling here and there. Interested in what he got.
