Did they say what type of weapon the shooter used?
Or what type the police had? I figure they probably just had their sidearms.
As why the shooter did not just kill himself.
Maybe he was and the police interupted it by kicking in the door.
The article i read is the police just kicked in the door.
Not sure if they first talked to him giving shooter time to get ready for them.
Seems likely as who wears a vest inside a home waiting for something to happen.
Unless he figured no way ill let the police remove me again since they did the last time.
You are doing a great job of trying to justify the ****bird's actions.
Would you expect anything otherwise? Someone on Indiana Gun Owners trying to justify the killing of a police officer....noooo!

Why would someone wear armor and then self-delete? Seems like he had a head full of bad wiring to me.
Regardless, there are people that have bad stuff happen to, and don't resort to shooting people.
So, any of that stuff is merely an excuse.
This. Many many people are able to cope with with far worse without going off the deep end.
What if it turns out he was? I mean, if that's the aspect we're going to focus on, if he was wearing body armor then what?
Well, if it wasn't then it's just sensationalist reporting. If it was armor then it gives some ignorant yahoo an incredibly rare instance that they can point to and say is commonplace as they finagle their legislature into passing a meaningless bill outlawing public possession of body armor of all types.
Requiescat in pace Officer Schultz
Why do you think it's incredibly rare? Because the media doesn't tell you it happens?
Is it not rare? What percentage of perpetrators are wearing body armor? If you know, I'd honestly like to hear. I know that in some areas organized criminals are using it more these days, but I can't really find hard numbers.
I can't answer for the others but for me, the main interest would be related to the fact that there has been a recent push for legislation to regulate the possession and use of body armor.
