What did you get at the 1500 this month?

I just picked up some INGO stickers for the boy, a zipper pull from Tyler, a bracelet that I need to still get from him and fondled a handful of guns.

    I also met:
    Aszerigan
    ESRice
    Lovemywoods
    NHT3
    Tyler34
And talked to gamez235 for a bit, but don't think I introduced myself.

    Nice meeting everybody.

lovemywoods and I spent Friday evening at the show and had an excellent time!

Our fun started when we got a call from VUPDblue, who explained that the NFA Day and INGO shirts were delayed in shipping, and that they just dropped them off at his house, while he was sitting at the show. So we headed to the West Side to pick those up first.

We got to the show around 5pm. The crowd was a nice size, and we never felt like we were having to swim through people to see the tables.

First we spotted curraheeguns and IndyMonkey at the SSNFA table. I got a chance to play with a Colt SMG with the world's largest suppressor tucked under the world's largest AR forend. I have aptly dubbed it "The Pornstar". ;) I'm sure Corey will be unveiling this soon.

We stopped by the Profire Arms booth, who happened to be buddied-up with Bobcat Steel. It was great getting a chance to meet Aszerigan. Andrew is a stand-up guy and I highly recommend people take advantage of his reloading classes if you're on the fence, or have ever been curious about what reloading entails. As always, it was great seeing Kimball (ZbornacSVT) and the lovely Lisa. His new zombie steel target is da bomb. :yesway: While at the table we also met HamsterStyle and Citronman1980. :ingo:

I finally got a chance to meet Brad (Bradsknives) and Knife Lady, aka Shiela--a wonderful couple with a lot of energy (and some great ideas! :ingo:). I managed to walk away without a new Strider. :D

Gamez235 and theweakerbrother were both working the 21st Century Firearms table. Britton's recent string of pistol deals have been phenomenal, and I hear the next one gets even better. :nailbite:

And, of course, we stopped by and chatted with VUPDblue at the INGO booth. He was sharing the space with tyler34 and the lovely Jennifer, Cwood from Indiana Supply Depot, right across from Tom Fineis and the boys at Raven Concealment (Mike and Trek). Also had a chance to say hi to samrothstein01, strongcrow and lovemachine46147.

lovemywoods picked up a several items for other INGOers, along with a new INGO t-shirt, an NFA Day t-shirt, a bunch of reloading gear and supplies, and about 6 5-gallon buckets of brass that Aszerigan was kind enough to polish for him. He topped off his list with some sugar-coated cashews and some chocolate-covered peanuts. :rockwoot:

I got a Streamlight PT2L handheld light and an NFA Day t-shirt. Whoever designed that NFA Day logo is an awesome guy! (<----- :D)

The after-party turned out to be dinner at Dawson's on Main in Speedway with lovemywoods, VUPDblue, ZbornacSVT, Lisa, and Cwood. An excellent meal to end an excellent day. :yesway:

Well let's see. Short but make me happy list.

Picked up a Pac-Lite 4.5 inch fluted and threaded upper for a Mark II and also a barrel adapter for my GSG 1911 from 21st century.
Both of which are in anticipation of getting my form 4 back So I can pickup my suppressor from Corey at SSNFA.

Picked up 1000 125gr .357 bullets for reloading and leather holster for my N frame 627

Not much but it was a good couple of hours and prices seemed alot better than recent 1500's
Oh and a Ammo can to carry the bullets in practically the whole time I was there. Bad planning on my part, should have hit the reloading supplies last

Got in line on Friday at 2PM. I saw the best deals standing in line. A Finn Mosin M39 for $240 and a Colt Navy 1851 serialed and never fired.

Now I went to just look around, and that is what I did. I am not in a position to buy anything this year but may be next. So with that in mind, I saw things I would like to have but not enough to come off of any cash. The one thing that I really wanted and that I really cannot afford was the MP40 for $8,750. I have seen these around 8k and would love to have one. I did not see a lot of "deals" but if I had the cash I would probably have picked up one of the police turn ins G21's for $425 (If I remember correctly) or the G21 still in the box from a guy I know, all second gen which fit my hand better.

Someday I am going to pick up the Standard AR15 20" kit ($485) from Model One Sales.

I would also like to pick up one of the swords from the table just as you leave.

Other than that, I walked away with some cards and pamphlets and that is all. Maybe the next show in Jan or later I will actually buy something.
