You guys crack me up! Im thinking the tag team theory. Or... Maybe he was carrying partial condition butter scotch. I did notice a baggy of loose rounds in his shoe and a disasembled magazine in his hat...

If he lost it by accident it shows how important it is to carry a second magazine (or more).
Not some much for the extra ammo but in case your semi-auto becomes a single shot gun (if he had one in the chamber) when you lose your magazine.
It's a good point and one of the reasons why I carry an extra loaded mag. There is also the point to be made here about the issue of a pistol with a magazine disconnect in this instance. In that case if you unknowingly lost your mag you may not even have that single shot available to you. Something to think about.

    Good point as well. :yesway:
That's one of the reasons why I hate those.

I thought magazine disconnect was an accident from the factory the user was supposed to disable.. Oh wait, maybe that's just what i do with any firearm that has one.

Didn't Speedway have some goofy no carry loaded or no open carry law on the books before the changes last summer? Maybe he's still complying or trying to comply with the old law?

I've still yet to actually catch an OC'er out in the open...I guess I'm the only one that I know. :p

Yeah, I'm betting it fell out at some point and he didn't realize it. What sort of holster was? Might help us determine if it was likely to accidentally pop the mag.

Vegetarian bacon should be a crime!

I've never seen anyone OC without a magazine. Unless he had a mag on him or in his car, I hope he enjoyed carrying the fancy paper weight. :dunno:
