There's a good reason why they rushed to ratify the 22nd Amendment following FDR's death. He is often revered as the liberal icon of the 20th century, but the reality is that many saw where his ideology was leading and didn't like it.

Unfortunately, the majority of Americans are no longer willing to see where these policies will take us. I can see the day that the 22nd Amendment is repealed, and few will object until it's too late.

It is definitly socialism and we have been headed down that road for decades! The liberals, progressives and most democrats are socialists. The word socialist has a negative conotation and the socialists prefer to use the soft terms progressive and/or liberal.

Have no doubt that Barack Obama is a full ideological socialist, he is/was a member of the New Party!

Correct Obama is also an authoritarian just like the socialist Fidel Castro!

Obama has a light hand now as he needs the people to support his socialist agenda.

We need to stop denying that we have a strong socialist presence in our government and in our local governments!

Most of the major cities on the east and west coast are socialists, they are trying to push their agenda on the rest of the Nation.

Socialist leaders always exempt themselves from the draconian laws that they inflict on the "peasants". They view themselves as intellectual elites who know what is best for the lower classes.

You should not be entitled to a job by birth, as you are entitled to free speech or self defense. It makes no sense. If only we were forced with healthcare, the only thing they did was force health INSURANCE on everyone. Healthcare could have made sense at least. I say he can take a very long walk off a very short pier.

My opinion on these items:

On the first; true; WE are the government, and WE are allowing a whole s41t-load of Ruler's usurpations to go on, unimpeded, before our very eyes,, a la King George. On the second; both ideas require a majority of congress to NOT act or TO act. We need ... no, WE MUUST make our millions of voices be heard in the media, in tHe check-out lanes of stores, and to congress. This worked for the hippies in the 60s, and it will work NOW, so DO IT NOW !! On anther solution, think "bullet weight, powder grains, range, windage, elevation, & opportunity." An oppressing opossum is just a dead meat with the right loadings. Stew-pot meat. A Country (American Country) boy will survive.
