why? i agree with that statement..u dont think libtards want obama as a dictator? totalitarianism: a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition etc.)
I have a hard time taking a website seriously with a subtitle like "Inside Every Liberal is a Totalitarian Screaming to get out."

Um... No I don't think "libtards" want any dictator. There was a time not long ago when "republi****s" would have let Bush do anything he wanted.

I can't stand the (p)Resident or his policies but realistically, these agencies are only able to be used by any administration for these purposes because the electorate in general are about a intelligent as a bag of hammers and have allowed the Federal Bureaucracy to take over. It's futile, IMHO, to believe that we can really effect change merely by putting a different party in the drivers seat. It took a long time for the IRS (or any one of the other alphabet agencies) to become what it is, through both Dem and Rep administrations, it didn't happen instantly once Obama was elected. If he were to resign today, it wouldn't change the left leaning, self perpetuating, we are the masters, attitudes of the so called 'Civil Servants'. The 'Government' is in need of some serious reductions, in size and authority. However, I doubt that this will ever happen from within. The system has spent too long making itself into what it is. It's going to take something major acting on it from outside to make it change.

No I don't believe the perceived problems with the country blamed on the President will be fixed with a change of leadership. That's why I asked who Republicans are going to blame?

I'm not saying they wanted a dictator, but Bush could have done whatever he wanted. To most Republicans, he could do no wrong.

Untrue. He was a good Commander-in-Chief and commanded respect from world leaders. But beyond that, conservative Republicans were not fans, and fought his increases in the size of government and in spending. Of course, I would take him in a heartbeat over the current Socialist-in-Chief, but he was not the darling of the Republican party, other than maybe the "establishment" mush middle-of-the-road Republicans inside the beltway.

I'll put it this way. I didn't hear anybody calling Bush a dictator or calling for his impeachment when he sent troops to war without Congressional approval. Also, good commanders don't start a war to finish what Daddy started.

    Well Pooty has a point.

I think you can find as many flavors of liberals as you can conservatives because a left/right line doesn't adequately describe political ideologies. "Liberals" don't have a monopoly on totalitarianism. Dick Cheney scores a lot higher than many lefties on totalitarianism. The totalitarians in the Republican Party, like Carl Rove, are the ones who complain loudest about libertarian leaning Republicans. President Bush was of the same cut.

But the point of the title is spot on. As totalitarian as W's administration was, the war on me as a taxpayer was over once Clinton left. The lefties, at least during the period of my political awareness, seem to be the bigger dickheads about taxes. I remember in the 90's gritting my teeth as I penned out my tax check each year of the Clinton administration. That big prick and now his little prick cousin Barry seem to love to make war on the American tax payer. The little prick in charge now is just more daring and ferocious about it.

You guys are right. I shouldn't have said no one. I should have said, "I doubt anyone around here was calling him a dictator or calling for his impeachment."
