I am good to go with any of the July dates. I would prefer winimac and it would be me +1. I would be happy to bring some sort of food. I would have a varity of pistols, a Swiss k31,mosin,ak,ar,dragunov,hipoint carbine,and my muzzy.

S&W bodyguard, .38 Special, will have some ammo
S&W Model 66, 357 mag, will have some ammo
S&W Model 39-2, 9mm, will have some ammo
Colt Huntsman, .22lr, will have copious amounts of ammo

Rifles
Colt AR-15 SP-1, 5.56, will have some ammo.
Marlin model 60, .22lr, will have copious amounts of ammo

If any interest I will bring:
Mosin 91/30, 7.62x54r
Mauser k98, 8mm
Springfield M-1 Garand, 30-06
Mossberg 500c, 20ga
Stoeger P-350, 12ga

Bump and move to events?

Sooooon, oh so very soon we get to move into the events channel.
The poll closes today. So once we have a date & location selected the main post will be updated and a request to the MODs will bemade to move into the events channel.

Note once we move into the events channel we must limit our post to ONLY event releated (ie. post what you are bringing, questions releated to the event) all other general comments we must stop per the special rules of the events channel.

So make sure you vote for the date (via poll above) and also post which location you prefer (via a post). Then subscribe to the thread and get ready for some fun. As Geraniomo85 posted a little lit ago, he already jumped the gun and posted what he was going to bring and whom. But alas that is Joe for us.

Note that if the event occurs in JULY 2011 you DO NOT need a LTCH to bring your handguns to the range. Per the new state law that goes into effect on 01 JUL 2011 you can take a handgun to the range IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN LTCH by doing the following:
1) Unloaded
2) In a locked container
3) Not within your reach (ie. trunk)

Thanks & why don't you start the SOUTHERN/CENTRAL/NE INGO MEET & SHOOT at your local DNR range as well then? This all started by a single post from one of our NWI members and since then has grown and grown. Good luck!

Okay I have updated the OP to show the date and location and have asked the MODs to move us into the official events channel.

The date is SAT 09 JUL 11 at WINAMAC

So start posting if you are coming and what you are bringing!

I plan on attending, maybe plus 3 or 4, I don't know for sure yet.
I will be bringing my (new to me) mosin (will likely have only limited ammo) and my XD .40 (will have ammo, but you get to load the mags).
I'll let you know about food later.

We are very low on napkins & have zero paper plates right now.
Do you know what you are bring hardware wise?
If there is anything you or Mr. Kitty would like to shot post so we can see if another member has "xyz" gun/rifle so you can try it out.
