MODS why was this moved to the general discussion?
The event will occur in MAR & the poll is allowing members to select the date?
    :dunno:

Once you establish an actual date, time, and location you'll be g2g in the Events Forum.

TIME & LOCATION are established. The date is what the members are still voting on. Once the poll closes we will know. At that time can I send a request to have the entire tread moved back into the EVENTs or do I need to start a new post in the events?

Typical...mods getting ahead of themselves and thinking they have "all the power" what a joke.

Please calm down. I'm sure it was just an oversite. Last year the protocol that I was doing was

    1) first tread was in GENERAL to vote for a date ONLY
    2) send the PMs to all the NWI INGO members (close to 6 pages of members)
    3) Once the date was picked make a new tread in the EVENTS section
    4) re-spawn the NWI INGO via PM

The problem is that at 5 members per PM it was taking me close to 30 messages since we had 147 members. We are now at 173 so that is 35 messages. If I follow last years process that is close to 70 PMs for the event. It's way too many to send out.

I need a better way to mass spam the NWI INGO social group. :faint:

It just annoys me when the mods here over-use their power. I mean, if you were advertising FREE PORN, then that's entirely different. That's why I made the comment that I did.

In the mean time, if you use MS Outlook, it has a 'Group Email' setting where you can put as many email addresses in there as you want, and with one email message on your part, it sends it out to the entire group. If you don't use Outlook, then PM me everyone's email address, and I'll do the mass emailing. Just my thoughts...

Not to be a prick, but there is this thread where you can complain about just that.

For the mass emailing we currently have the NWI MSG, which is quite easy to use, yet we have very few people who use it. Unless everyone sends their email address(unlikely) it still wont work.

I am going to try to make this one, as long as it is earlier in the month.

WASR10 Underfolder, will have ammo (7.62x39, eats anything)
Bulgarian Makarov, will have limited ammo (9x18 Mak)
Savage Edge in .223, will have ammo (.223, no problem with ammo, but noticeable accuracy increase with better ammo)
Taurus PT111 Pro (2nd gen), will have ammo (9mm, eats anything)
M1 Carbine, will have extremely limited ammo (.30 Carbine, brass preferred)

Can you give us the type of calibers each of these need please & I will update the main post.

I use the PM feature on this site since I don't have all 173 NWI INGO member's emails nor would I really want to get them all. In yahoo mail and even google mail I can set up mailing list the issue is I use PMs to inform them of treads that are 'active' on INGO.

BTW does anyone have a Mosin-Nagant rifle?
If so would you mind bringing it so that I can try it out.

    Thanks!
If the date it right I will bring a M91/30, M44, and M38 along with a sealed spam can of ammo that some unlucky fellow will have to open 1/2 of an inch at a time :). Anybody that has had to open a 440 round can of Mosin ammo knows what I'm talking about...

Looks like this one will be on the 20th. I cannot make it, I have a karate tournament in Naperville.
Here's an idea, just for discussion; if one month is on a sunday, make the next one on a saturday, the third month would be open to vote for sat or sun. again.
This would give members that cannot make it on day x, because of work or whatever, a chance to come out and play too.
    Just a thought.
