Is there anything that lists which counties have a wheel tax? I know when more counties get wind of money they all will. Just curious how many have the tax in Indiana. I did not find anything on a search.
While I admittedly being wrong on amount, I'm fairly positive it's been a city thing, not county, up to this point in time.

I can't find which places have the wheel tax... but if you're paying it, it's on your "INDIANA CERTIFICATE OF VEHICLE REGISTRATION"

    3rd row down
    About the middle.

    That's Harbor Freight, isn't it?
Crap....I drove by two of them today, thinking to myself "I have to check their .50 cal can prices online when I get home tonite" 'cause I need 2 more.

    Oh, well.
Anyone know if their metal cans are "real"?
(watertight and airtight like GI cans)
I have several. GTG for what they are metal wise.

The metal cans have the rubber gasket on the lid. Its not flimsy metal either. It's the standard metal used for the boxes.

The plastic ones are ok. jedi would not recommend filling them with loose ammo but for magazines for the range, misc items they are ok.

Thanks for the useful data, but it would seem some of those figures are for boxed ammo, and some for loose. I may be wrong, but it would be nice to know which is which.
I base this on personal experience, knowing that you can easily fit 2k rounds of 855 (5.56) on stripper clips, into a .50 cal can, if they're not in the cardboard 30 rd sleeves.

2k is quite a bit. I was thinking less. I also wonder how accurate. I thought I got closer to 3k in 9mm. But guessing from quite a while back. And the can was Heavy. Wonder how much weight can a handle take?

I would agree. The metal ones seemed pretty good. It has been a while since I looked them over. The plastic ones?? Well they are plastic. I would hate to set one down hard with it full of ammo.
