Going to Mexican restaurant today is like going to church on Easter. It's going to be packed.. Why on earth would you do that to yourself.. Go a day after or day before or like just me, don't go to church at all

Wife wanted to go. Went early enough, got right in, fed, and already home.

My daughter's softball game was cancelled due to rain, so we did get to have tacos at home. She was happy with her consolation prize.

Why do people celebrate St Patrick's day?

Literally the same reasons. Alcohol and food. It is just a reason to party and have fun. An excuse for tacos & margaritas = and excuse for corned beef & beer. Same.

Why do people celebrate St Patrick's day?

It's the liquor companies' equivalent of a Hallmark Holiday. People are celebrating the victory of another country's forces in a battle that had nothing to do with this country. I know the reality of why, I already stated that.

not a real big fan of popular Mexican foods

I have Mexican friends, eat what they serve me, but I am just not a fan tacos. There are lots of good Mexican foods, but most are not popular here in the US

I didn't eat tacos much until I went to Mexico and then lived in Texas. Fresh tortillas and stuff whatever you like in them = yum.

We don't choose to dine out much. So many meh restaurants. We were supposed to dine out after the kid's soccer game at 5:30-6-30, but that was rained out. I think that was where her mindset was, the restaurant was her want even me saying "you know." Kid wanted Chinese and got vetoed.
