JW Chen's in South Bend (yes, faaaarrrr) is very good. The owner came out of the back to greet our group. We ordered different meals and when she got to my order, she asked if I liked seafood. She special made a whitefish dish not on the menu and it was fantastic!

I got her this because she needed one to use in the house and was too stubborn (and cheap) to buy one. This is the only one I could find that will go through her 24" bathroom door.

Also boring stuff like clothes and slippers and a clock for her bathroom. We're over the knicknack stuff.

Gotta love when union engineers don't know how to configure their stuff. Even better when they don't back up their systems that are not on the network and it bites the company in the butt... That's ok, who needs sleep or to go home. But the engineers get to go home.

I went and did it. While I shall be keeping my faithful Silverado (with its 238,000 miles) for a while longer for my son to drive over the summer, I went and bought a new (to me) truck.

The Silverado which I lovingly nicknamed "Big Red", being over worked:

The new truck...I'm sensing a trend...and yes, it has a Hemi:

No name yet and I can't dishonor Big Red by doubling up on the name....wait....maybe "Junior".

'19 Ram Bighorn 4x4. 20k miles. 5.7L. It's a basic truck in that it has cloth seats and manual climate controls...but basic is pretty nice these days. I know I said I neither needed, nor wanted a 4x4...but it's pretty and was a good deal.

    Picking it up Saturday.
