I was talking about the shooting the other night here on my street not the Meijer one, I hadn't seen that when I posted. But yes everyone is ok here.

Yea, still hadn't heard much other than the shooting at Merrillville Meijer. First Merrillville Walmart earlier this year, now this? What the crap. Glad I'm always carrying when legally allowed.

Could have easily turned out different. The downstairs neighbor's bed is only feet from the targeted vehicle, or like literally on the other side of the wall from my parking spot. The bullet that stuck my car also went through and tumbled over and stuck in the wall of the house behind us like a foot below where one of her kids sleeps.

I'm guessing you get to pay the deductible to your insurance to have the new vent in your car fixed too.

Edit: They gave me $1254 for it and it's already in my account. I'm impressed yet again with Progressive. Geico was cheaper for the bike but I think if(let's be honest, when) I get another one, I'm going to eat the extra few bucks a month and insure it with Progressive.
