Tom, is knee replacement an option? I ask because my wife is having one done in August, unless elective surgeries get shut down again. Just curious about your situation, plus I wanted to give you another post to look forward to !

    .

I am averse to having my legs split open, my tibias cut off and metal parts being pounded in with a hammer.

My primary is looking into the possibility of arthroscopic surgery.

I have several friends that have had double replacements and cannot be more pleased. I have met others that have surgery and say it is no better or worse.

Nobody else can profit from it like we can. We were the model shop... Don't know why they couldn't get the others to be on par with us....

Ohh wait, you might have to pay people more than $20/hr to get someone that knows their ass from a hole in the ground.

Yea, it's a tough choice. In my wife's case it's the only option, as she's bone-on-bone. Arthroscopic is for other type problems like torn ligaments, etc...

I've known several people that replacement helped immensely, and a couple where the results were less than optimal. My older brother had a partial replacement, and it's not been perfect. Best of luck with it.

That's cool. The more body parts I lose, the more acceptable it becomes to walk around with a parrot on my shoulder and fitting "Arrrg" into every sentence.

    Careful....that's mmpsteves' job

Glad to hear you're on the mend

Feel free to discuss or cuss about your job. It gives me something to look at look at while I sit this one out. Nice to sit on the front pouch and watch the world go by like the clouds.

    Well, it's a cool 106 degrees.
I completed something like 22 calibrations.
And worse, I had to clean off the load cells on the ladle cars.
So, I'm covered in "dirt" head t toe.
And completely soaked from sweat for the last 14 hours.

    That does help.
