Monday is here. Another week starting. Due to end of fiscal year, a little less of some work which is almost nice, except everything just sits and waits until it's opened back up and then trying to get all of that done at once. Always fun.
At least the weekend was pretty nice weather.
Sadly got some work done on the truck. Ouch, but running great again. Still ouch.

Lady and her friend rode mopeds from Chicago city center to our house Saturday -- they'd been rebuilding her bike for the last couple months, we rode break down duty lol.

Took friend and her boyfriend shooting at Kingsbury/Deer Creek Sunday morning, so all in all alot of shooting this weekend.

Kingsbury is nice but I now understand why M&S happens at Winnamac instead ;)

Got my iron sight CZ rezeroed at 50, loving how it shoots.

Got the scoped cz zeroed at 50 as well, for squirrel. Sorta underwhelmed -- probably inch and a half but no leadsled, just a single bag, so that could easily be me and my buddy not being good shots and the trigger being a little stiff/the rifle not being shot in yet.

    Curious what ammo was involved?
The shooter has to do their part certainly, but I have been surprised more than once how small groups can shrink with a round that your rifle shoots well. That wasn't limited to rimfire rifles either.

Eley Action Plus. The 24" trainer LOVES it but the American is 20". Also only have about 100 rounds total through the American now, so... Gunna try regular action on the trainer to see if maybe sv ammo helps vs HV. It wasn't terrible but groups were about 1 - 1.5 inches without an obvious flyer which isn't as good as I expect from 455s (this is my third.)

Did the range nazi yell at ya at kingsbury?

Not me but some other folks for fondling guns during cold range. It was fine for me and a buddy just shooting FUDDish guns, but for a group event the more relaxed atmosphere at Winnamac is waaay better.

459 posts. Do I remember you being worried about getting to 50. Glad you have settled in.

You would have really liked it before the new rules then.
