One of the really nice fringe benefits of moving here is the parade of hummingbirds. There were all over when we lived out west for a couple years when I was a little kid so I've got nostalgia for them. There were some in Chicago when we moved back to the Midwest but by about 15 years ago or so I'd never see them in the city anymore.

Little feeder we got in the back yard is like a busy rest stop for them

So I broke down and payed for a scanner to receive P25, Uniden BCD436HP. It receive all the towns in lake county but I can't pick up Hobart. Anyone that's familiar with this scanner can you help me out.

It may not be programmed for their talkgroup. They did not want to co-channel like most of the other agencies and went to their own agency talkgroup.

Anyone want a free Japanese Maple tree? Pickup in Hobart. Will need a day to get it dug up and you will need a truck to haul it.

Its getting to full for the area it's in and the wife wants to change up the landscape in that area
