I once was wondering if I should wait till spring to get new tires.
Tstar told me to get the F'n tires.
    She is a smart one.

It amazes me that people that are otherwise good about maintaining things neglect their tires. Tires are the thing that connect you to the road. They help you go, they help you stop, they help you keep control.

    You don't want worn tires.

I still had some life in the tires.
    But, with winter approaching..

When the car went off camera, it decided to stop sliding, and went into the grass. There's a pretty severe curb there. One of the old fashioned squared off ones, not one of the new rounded off curbs.
Probably a pretty good bump when it happened.
    Probably had balding tires.
And someone that thought it would be good to go the "normal" speed around the curve when there was a light sprinkling of rain slicking the road up.
