I love perogis, but the fest was not what I expected. The food was over priced, not as good as expected and we had to park too far away.

Jedi, I have a bunch of broken posts to pull.
So, I can't just dig a hole. I have to dig around the existing post, about 180 degrees. So if I have to pull 4 posts, that's a lot of digging.

I went a couple of years ago, expecting to see Polish grandmas sauteing pierogis in butter in a skillet. What I found was frozen pierogis nuked in the microwave and sold for 3/$10.

And besides, it's always hot AF at the end of July.

In that case you need to dig down just enough to get the chain around the post or concrete. The jack method works just as well.

    How?
The post is broke of in the ground.

If you have a 10,000# capacity trailer and a truck that can pull it, I have a Bobcat tractor with a front end loader that will pull it right out of the ground for you. But I no longer have a trailer or a truck heavy enough to haul this tractor. Oh, it will likely rut your yard too. But if the post needs to come out, this tractor will do it.

As any true Pole can tell you, the plural is Pierogi and not Piergis!
