Yea I looked at NPCCC a couple years ago, and that's what i noticed. The range was always booked by police or matches with very few days left for members to shoot. For the new guy in Michigan City, why not check out Michigan City Rifle Club https://michigancityrifleclub.com/ ?

Its a bit pricey from what I remember.
I do they they have an indoor pistol range and that would be sweet in the winter.

I was a member there a couple of years ago and didn't have time for all the volunteer hours needed to be a member and didn't like the raised dues and always couldn't use the range when I wanted. I just joined the Ikes off 65 ans 61st ave.

jedi has been to this one and of all the ranges in the area this is the one to be at. if it was closer to jedi he would have joined a long time ago.

outdoor range bays similar to winamac with a section that goes out to 200 yards.
a large club house with indoor plumbing, meeting room, kitchen
area to primative camp as well

So after looking at the MC Rifle Club i have to say its about the best out there for my area.
However if I join in May its like 350 bucks.
200 join in fee (one time) and like 160 ish per year (pro rated).

I shot trap there one time like 30 years ago and it was fun.

I'm already an NRA member so I dont have that hoop to jump through.

I keep thinking about that heated indoor range in Oct through May !
