Sounds familiar Tom, but I don't believe so. I worked at Eddie's Standard on the NE corner of 30 & 41. Since I lived south of 30, I didn't go north that often. Started right next door at Sauzer's Waffle shop in '75 as a dishwasher (man, what a ****ty job), but moved up fast to bus boy, and then hit the big time at Eddie's, pumping gas, changing oil and tires. Learned a lot during those years.

I miss the waffle shop from back in the late 70's. Does anyone remember the old San Remo's in Griffith on Ridge and Broad street?

Was that a steak place? Never was there, but always heard about it.

All sorts of seafood and they had two dinning rooms with a piano in one and the other had an organ with a husband and wife team playing music to dine by.

I drink a couple of double espressos most mornings. No sugar, no cream. Just hot, black and bitter ... like my lovely wife

Water/liquids should flow through a healthy septic system and not reside in the tank for too long.
