Still have not made it out of the bed.
Aaaahhhh what a feeling to not have to be up by 3am not have anything to do today.

Not I. On my second cup of coffee. Most im gonna do today is 12oz curls, roast a chicken on the grill and watch the ND game tonight. Was gonna smoke a pork shoulder but forgot to get it out the freezer Saturday.

Might get out in the shop and do a little work later... but I'm leaning toward "might not". I hit it pretty decently hard yesterday and my back started complaining a little, so, maybe better to relax.

I mourn for you guys grinding it out on a holiday... I had to do that garbage for years, but, hopefully you're making at least double time!

Indoor cleaning today. Got a call from my mom. Her and Dad are inbound to attend a funeral of a lifelong friend. They stay with us in the lower level suite of my house which doubles as my mancave/armory. I've got stuff stacked in every corner and flat surface, that's gotta be squared away. I wish I was more organized and neat. Their visits do force me to tighten up, though, so I guess that's a good thing.

I think it's only the 3rd time I've doubled on a holiday in 27 years.
Which is something, considering EVERY week is overtime.

But, I'm not gonna turn down 5 days pay.
