The truly homeless people won't usually turn down a free meal. Then again, most of them I see don't usually beg either.

They amended it overnight pushing the storms out to later today.

Meh, it wasn't a huge deal. I hadn't even heard the weather, but the girls at work were all in a tizzy.

They seem to be getting worse forecasting. Could just be that I pay a lot more attention with all of our animals.

It's getting to the point every road I want to travel on is or will be under construction. Pierogi Fest might be in jeopardy!

I felt that last month. One road finished one still under construction. Of course that is the one I use, so I'm still taking alternate routes.

In the 4 years working Chicago, only 2 have asked for food. One got leftover pizza that I was carrying, the other got Burger King, since we were right there.

I have given leftover lunch to obviously homeless people on the street. I have purchased food or coffee in the Winter for some of them at times as well. I will very seldom ever give any of them cash. A couple of times I have given cash to guys I knew were homeless.

I know a guy who passes out McDonald's applications when he gets harrassed. Most the time it results in confusion, but once after a Bears game, a homeless guy went off. It was followed by yelling that he purchased a paper on the way in where the homeless guy walked away.

But people want $15/hour and evil corporations owe them a living despite a lack of skills, work ethic, qualifications or hygiene.

We needed the rain. This has been great too. It hasn't been really hard rain that runs off. It's been a nice steady rain that soaks in.

By the middle of the week things should be dry enough to get the tractors out and take care of all the stuff I need to do while on vacation.
