The heat has me counting down the days till I get my 30 years.
1,244 days.
Couse, with all the overtime, it will seem like 1,700 days.

Columbus Gun Show this morning. No major purchase or finds for me.

So glad we decided to get a pool. I definitely wouldn't spend this much time outside on a 90°+ day without it.

Looks like today is going to be another day in the pool or hiding inside cooled by the AC unit. Either way, NIPSCO is getting its share of my income in the form of a big bill when this heat wave ends.

11:15am and my son randomly brought me a drink. Granted, it was a warm Lite, but it's the thought that counts.

I'm drinking 50/50 powerade/water. Just came in from spraying some poison ivy. Had to put on long pants, long sleeves, and gloves.

i went to aldis and just the walk in the parking lot and i looked like i had come out of shower. yuck!!!

Lucky to have half of the shop with A/C and the other half not so cool. Getting to go outside to unload trucks is a quick trip.

We all just had a big bowl of homemade ice cream i made last night. Fresh strawberries from the garden for the strawberry ice cream and did a batch of vanilla bean too. Absolutely delicious on a hot day. 3 scoops of each
