Ahhh! Four days off, then work 3, then another 4 off. Haf a few v-days to burn before the New Year. Looking forward to it!!!!

Well they CAN schedule you for three doubles in a row.

Not exactly.
They are required by contract to schedule us a "normal" schedule. They can schedule us a bunch of OT, but it has to be based around a regular schedule.
So, because of that, at most they can either work me 5 shifts with a double, or a 6 day week.

Until my restriction is up in a month. Then they can schedule me 80 hours.. or more.
But in a couple weeks, there'll be 4 of us in the crew, so I should be able to get away with 48 to 56 hour weeks.

We'll be in NW Iowa for Christmas this year, so the snow factor % will be greatly increased!

Dropped of a lighting fixture and the builder showed us a cabinet was delivered with a whamo. Found out the painters are taking 2 weeks off.
At least we don't HAVE to be out of the old house anytime immediately and he isn't pressed now for a deadline and rush things.
