I probably wouldn't wear an NRA hat. I've passed up plenty of cute hats I liked so I can keep wearing my burnt orange Oklahoma hat :rockwoot:

But when I see people out wearing NRA or Team Glock gear..I check for printing yes

I don't own a NRA hat but I was just at the Beech Grove walmart this evening and saw two older gentlemen with 1911's on their hip. One was wearing a hat with bold golden letter that said N R A. Since he was OCing, I doubt he cared what attention it brought.

Backwards like on the shoulder of a uniformed soldier? There's a meaning behind that... it's not backwards. I'll leave it to you to figure out. ;)

Backwards ,the stars are trailing when the hat wearer is
moving forward. Soldiers and most LE usually get it right.
I probably won't wear the hat.

I wear an NRA jacket frequently, I don't have the hat.

    Regarding the flag:

On Military uniforms the flag is oriented so it looks like the wearer is charging into battle.

On BSA uniforms the flag is oriented so it looks like the wearer is backing away quickly from battle (non-combatants). That is how I remember the correct orientation for each anyway.

I just got one in the mail and I thought "Gee, I'm about 25 years too young to even begin to think about wearing a hat like this." Not a fan. So if anyone wants one, PM me haha.

I think displaying NRA stickers on your car is an open invitation for law enforcement to be on red alert when dealing with you, and I think wearing NRA apparel could reduce your tactical advantage, just like OC'ing.

Gotta admit, they do have some pretty nice looking hats.

Maybe to some extent, but I don't think the average cop would see "NRA" and assume you are a threat (unless you are in California). As an organization they tend to toe the line. I'd guess most police officers, especially around here are either members or sympathize with their views anyways.
