nope no 870 or a 500 for me.. i picked up a Benelli Nova today. cant wait to get out to use it.. found it at gander mtn for a good price. has a 28in barrel and came with 3 choks and they threw in a hard case..

I love my Novas. You chose well. I think it comes down to personal preference when choosing any of the quality pump guns today, and the Nova has some nice features and a great feel.

Congrats on the new gun. A buddy of mine just got one real cheap the other day as well. I shot it and was pretty impressed for the price. And I am surprised as well that anyone got a deal at Gander mountain! I like there selection, but they are WAY out there on some gun prices.

I LOVE MY 'Nellies! I have the 28" added the recoil weight to the stock and a magazine tube ext. that walks right to the tip of the barrel. It will carry about 10 shells (darn near 30 of those little aguilla mini shells LOL). Not exactly a hunting gun without a 20" dowel up her tube but she sure makes me sleep well next to my M1 Super 90.

Unless you want something tacticool there are very few accesories for them.
